Jorge
Segoviano Ferreiro , has a degree in Political
Sciences and Sociology from the País Vasco University
(UPV) and specialised in Industrial and Urban Sociology.
He is currently working towards his Doctorate at UPV and
has chosen the topic of “Biotechnology and Society”
for his thesis. He has a Master of Applied Social Research
from UPV and a Master of Human Resources Management from
Inforem / The Specialists in Politics and Sociologists
Association of Madrid. He has complemented his training
with different courses on Quality Management in Biotechnology.
He has been a speaker at, and participated in, several
congresses, one-day conferences and seminars related to
bioethics, law and the human genome and biotechnology
and sociology. He is the author of several articles.
