Antón Uriarte Goiricelaya, has a PhD in Pharmacy from the Autónoma de Barcelona University, and has worked in the field of applied research as well as teaching at the Red Cross School of Nursing. He is a Community pharmacologist and homeopath. He is also an expert dietician, expert toxicologist and Health Inspector for the Ministry of Health and Consumption. He is a clinical analyst at the Basurto Hospital (Bilbao) and member of the Board of Vascofar, a pharmaceutical product distribution company.
He has been Head of the Basurto Hospital (Bilbao) Pharmacy Service and is a member of several scientific societies, such as the Medical Sciences Academy and the Society of Toxicology. He is also the author of a number of scientific articles and books.
